Robin Hofmann never set out to write a book. It all started as a personal challenge: post one skate verse every day on Instagram for a year. Somewhere along the way, one line stood out: “The one who films gets priority.”

That’s when the messages started: “Yo, are you really gonna make this into a book?”

At first, Robin laughed it off. But as the requests kept coming, the idea began to take shape. The goal became clear not just to put verses on paper, but to create something that would resonate with skaters everywhere.

The result is Skate Verses a collection built from the community, for the community. Inside are lines that will make you laugh, push harder, and remind you why you skate in the first place. Some verses came straight from fellow skaters, others from Robin himself but all of them capture the raw energy of skateboarding.
